Great Pulteney Street
is a magnificent boulevard of Georgian town houses in mellow
Bath stone built in the 1780s. Reputed to be the
widest street in Britain, Great Pulteney Street still retains
some of the gracious airs of another era.
It is ideally
situated in one of the best residential areas of Bath in a quiet
location with the Recreation Ground on one side and Henrietta
Park on the other.
No 16 is
situated near the City end and has a Southerly aspect with Henrietta
Park and Mews garaging to the rear. The City attractions,
shops, banks and a supermarket are all within an easy level
walk.
There are
dozens of good pubs, restaurants and shops all within easy walking
distance. The Leisure Centre with its children's pools and soft
play areas and the recently opened Bath Spa are just a short
level walk away and there is a Park just behind the property.
Staying in
Great Pulteney Street means that you can forget about your car
or Public transport during your stay and when dining out in
the evenings you will not have to decide who has to drive home.
We are also
happy for you to deposit your belongings in your apartment from
1045am on the day of arrival thus giving you
the opportunity to enjoy a full day in Bath.
